Crappie fishing is starting to pickup.  The best method is using live minnows on the edge of the main river Channel 12 to 16 feet deep.

The best method to catch bass is fish the river channels with Crank Baits or Carolina Rigs.

The lower lake has been producing lots of Whitebass.
